Welcome to my new blog which goes by the title of 'Ramblin' Man!'.
This seems extremely appropriate as I have a tendency to move around location wise, and I also tend to ramble on with some of my stories or observations, as previously discussed in my earlier blogs, 'A Spiritual Journey To Find A Home' and 'Observations of a Single Male'.
This blog will be published on a weekly basis, as I wouldn't want to bore my readers with numerous 'rambles', and the subject matter will vary according to what's partucularly relevant at the time.
There is a song by Dickey Betts called 'Ramblin' Man' and the lyrics go...
"...I was born a ramblin' man, trying to make a living and doing the best I can..."
That sums me up perfectly I reckon!
As I've always been roaming around I thought I'd confirm my minimalistic status by listing an inventory of all of my possessions. As my friends will no doubt testify this is true, and I can transport all of my belongings in one trip in the back of a car. The picture attached to this blog is of a Hyundai Accent Bari Coupe, and this was the last car that I actually owned. I bought it for £3,000 and it lasted for three years covering nearly 100,000 miles, so I can't complain. Ever since I've been ramblin' as a pedestrian, although I have been fortunate to have access to a motor on certain occassions, and obviously I had use of a fantastic campervan when I was touring New Zealand.
So please find below all my worldly possessions...I kid you not!

So now you know why it's so easy for me to travel light. Maybe in time, once I finally settle down (hopefully in around six months time) my possessions and belongings will grow...but time will tell I guess.
Wishing you all a lovely Royal Wedding Bank Holiday Weekend to all my friends here in the UK, and to all my other friends elsewhere around the world I wish you all well, and hope that the sun always shines on you...even in the winter months down under in Oz & NZ! xx

Wow - I wish I could get my possessions down to that few!! I've spent the last few days throwing out junk from when I was a teenager! (>_<)
